Comfortable architect/owner's home set in a flowered garden with cherry, peach, apricot and mirabelle trees on the outskirts of Albi on the historic Route de Cordes.
Perfect base for home-hunting or exploring this historic city (just a ten minute walk to the Cathedrale, Pont Vieux, Toulouse-Lautrec museum). Short drives to visit the surrounding region, which includes the vineyards of Gaillac, Cordes-sur-Ciel, the Bastides, the Valley of the Tarn, to name but a few. The Golf d'Albi is a few hundred meters across the river (but a 10-minute drive around the Cathedral).
The home is on two levels. The upper, entry level is a large (56m2) living room with fireplace and open kitchen (made for cooking). The entire southwest wall is glass, looking out over spectacular country views on the other side of the river. This level is air coniditioned.
The lower level has 2 bedrooms and full bath.
There is no pool.
Offered fully furnished for one or two-week séjours from June-August at 1000€/week. Extra beds, laundry facilities, etc. are available. An adjoining loft studio with sleeping for 2 plus double fold-out bed is also available for larger family groups. (See Rental #151 ).
